I was so excited to receive my Nabila K Cosmetics goods in the mail earlier this month! I’ve heard great things about the brand and I love how they had such unique body scrub flavours.
Their skincare range is very wide and they have lots of fruity flavours to choose from. you’re a fan of US brands like Bath & Body Works and UK brands like The Body Shop, I’ld highly recommend you check out Nabila K!
My parcel consisted of 3 products that I really wanted to try out:-
(1) Nabila K Wine Body Scrub,
(2) Nabila K Apricot & Cinnamon Body Scrub,
(3) Moisturising Lip Balm with Passionfruit.
Nabila K Wine Body Scrub 🍷
If you have problematic dry, hardened skin, this berry coloured wine body scrub from Nabila K is a real skin savour and miracle worker!
I recently realised that I don’t have verrucas on my feet but that I have corn on the underside of my feet. Corns aren’t bunions or warts, and they aren’t contagious. What they are are cone-shaped bits of hardened skin that dig into the skin from pressure and mechanical stress.
As such, to deal with this hardened skin on the base of my feet as well as the usual dry, hardened skin around the back of my heel, I used this awesome scrub to bring back some life into my feet and also soften it. It’s like doing a DIY pedicure in the comfort of your own home really!
What I did was prepare a clean basin and filled it with hot water from my shower. You don’t need a lot of water, just enough to reach your ankles will suffice.
After that, I scooped out a reasonable amount of the Nabila K Wine Body Scrub using the nice wooden spatula-like spoon that comes with it. It makes things a lot less messy, and the spoon is so very cute and practical for handling this organic cane sugar scrub. I like how it is both reusable and eco-friendly!
I then soaked my feet in the hot water to soothe and relax my feet, and also encourage blood circulation.
Then, using my hands, I massaged the Nabila K wine body scrub on the top of my feet, the heels and the soles of my feet.
Ahh! Feels so good. For extra relaxation, pour yourself a glass of Merlot!
The Nabila K wine body scrub is good for exfoliating away dead skin cells without being harsh. It’s not damaging at all, and the fruity fragrance will leave you feeling relaxed and as if you are being pampered at a spa.
After soaking my feet for approximately 20 minutes, I dried my feet with some towels and then rinsed my feet as well as the basin.
My feet felt a lot smoother, younger looking, softer to the touch and also immensely hydrated after soaking in the lovely scrub. It’s as if all the effects of walking and ageing have been reversed!
I think using this Nabila K wine body scrub once or twice a week will definitely show an improvement in my skin’s moisture and texture! True story: You can say goodbye to dry, hardened skin after using this hardworking body scrub 🙂
Nabila K does a variety of body scrubs, and you can find the range at www.nabilak.com
If baby smooth skin is your skin concern, then you should definitely add this wine infused scrub to your cart!
Apricot & Cinnamon Body Scrub
If you would love to try the body scrub but you’re not that into fruity scents, I’ld recommend getting the Apricot & Cinnamon body scrub! It smells clean and is on the sweeter side but without the berry/fruit punch-like flavour. For that reason, I like using the Apricot & Cinnamon body scrub for my neck, torso, arms, and the Wine Body Scrub for my legs and feet.
Moisturising Lip Balm With Passionfruit
Lastly, I’ve added the Nabila K Moisturising Lip Balm with Passionfruit to my evening routine before bedtime.
I strongly recommend getting this if dry lips are your concern, I like applying this on my lips and the surrounding skin right before sleeping to ensure that my lips feel nice, soft and hydrated in the morning! It’s very functional and fuss-free, which makes it the perfect addition to your handbag/backpack!
